Healthy Faith
Healthy Faith is a transformative, multi-strategy initiative
designed to support the physical, emotional, and social health of
youth and adults in our community. Guided by evidence-based
practices like the Teen Outreach Program and rooted in the
strengths of faith-based organizations as leaders and problem
solvers, Healthy Faith creates a holistic foundation for thriving
individuals and communities. Our program integrates wellness
promotion, violence prevention, and civic engagement with
accessible mental health resources and practical skills training.
Through dynamic partnerships, inclusive programming, and
structured workshops, Healthy Faith cultivates safe spaces for
growth, healing, and empowerment. All participants are guided
toward resilience, self-confidence, and a deeper sense of
connection to their community.
Healthy Faith is directly aligned with faith strategies outlined in
the KC Blueprint, with faith-based organizations recognized as
central leaders and problem solvers in community health and
safety. Their trusted presence and history of service empower
Healthy Faith to create spaces for healing, mentorship, and
leadership development. Faith partners participate in program
planning, event facilitation, and ongoing participant support,
ensuring spiritual well-being and community resilience are
integrated into every aspect of the initiative.
